Use all of them. It's not like one will conflict with the other (though Spybot and Ad-aware did have conflictions in the past.. ). Run AVG about once a week. It updates by itself so you don't have to worry about that. Ad-aware and Spybot: Search & Destroy normally have updates once a week. You'll have to do that manually. Also, run them weekly as well. Mike.
okay. i downloaded the lastest version of avg free version is that right? http://filehippo.com/download_avg_antivirus/ it says Anti-Virus: Internal Virus Database is out-of-date and when i try to update search and destroy its says bad checksum
Okay i tried a different download location and it worked what about avg where is the update file located?
Alright, when you click "check for updates" it should automatically find a file and then you select it to download. If it is up-to-date, it will say "Your AVG program already has the latest updates installed and is fully up-to-date." Mike.
Avast, spybot, adaware. Thats all you need. Avast Note* - You need to register to use it (free also).
how many times do we have to see these threads about Virus Scanners and firewalls? lol www.avast.com antivirus ftw and that's my recommendation, whoever agree with me gets a sandwitch!
