You are right bro , the new ones dont overclock as well as the old ones , i got my core 2 duo the first week they came out , the first badge. A lot of people are getting non overclockable chips , the new ones. But at least yours can overclock to 3.5 I have seen worst. Good Day bro.
this was my max OC on this CPU about 3.75 but not stable just for SuperPI run Have a Good Day back, and I'm going to bed now it's almost 1AM
[hwbot] 19.125-Intel Core 2 E4300 (1.8GHz)@3204MHz |1GB Super Talent DDR2 667MHz@712MHz 5-5-5-15 [/hwbot]
[hwbot] 38.234 - Intel Pentium 4 'C' 3.2Ghz @ 3792.8Ghz 2x512 Corsair TWINX1024-3200@474 [/hwbot] Damn, keep getting lower scores with it! Thought that 38,9secs was the absolut limit, and now I'm at 38.2 secs!! Might even get 37.9
check my screen shot of cpu z above. Right now im running it at 3.4ghz at 1.31v which is a very cooling idle temp 39 idle. For me to run it at 3.6ghz i have to use 1.43v. Also be noted that i dont know why but my BFG 680i mobo can run 3.6ghz at less voltage 1.4v stable but cant do multi 8 like the asus.
My result 14.508s [hwbot] 14.508s Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 9*405 = 3645MHz / PDP Patriot LLK 2x1024MB (4-4-4-12). 800MHz [/hwbot]
Peter, you spouse to get better score's with those clock's man, I'll get better score's with 3.550 so you do something wrong. Maybe you exit all other apps when you going to run the test But still amazing score's if you think just one year back Good Luck
Phalanx , nice core , they are so difficult to overclock but you got it right , keep up the good work Good luck.
Thanks  I'm trying for 4Ghz but it's being stubborn, it just doesn't want to go past 3976Mhz no matter what I do. But man, ever since I lapped this thing it's like I've unleashed it or something c:
