Its Official Splinter Cell Conviction is coming out for PC

in the end it say Xbox 360 and PC : ). Ubisoft this time make the game use multi core and a super port from xbox 360 with everything no left backs.

Splinter Cell has been a great series of games from the beginning. I'm glad that the latest installment in the franchise is coming straight to PC.

 

I love Splinter Cell and this could be exactly what the series needs, montreal is developing it from what i hear which is good, ill keep an open mind

 

Unreal Engine 3, Ubi Montreal, how can it go wrong?

 

um... it's a port from Ubisoft... that's already VERY wrong. Just look at how R6V ended up running on pc and that terrible SCDA port. Why can't they develop a pc version of splinter cell anymore?

 

the only one was CT that was super goood on pc and it had SM 3.0. support from day 1 it came out.

 

Ya, but that was before "next-gen" consoles came out. Every Ubi port was great until that sad day happened.

 

Lets just hope they do a decent port.

 

Shanghai were responsible for the abysmal double agent port, Montreal did wonders on the double agent for xbox and ps2. Montreal will do a good job, im sure of it

is it me that doesnt think the game looks like a splinter cell??

to me splinter cell means sneaking around in the dark with special googles and high tech weaponry , this seems more like assasins creed

 

No, more like Hitman IMO.

 

I'm praying that this doesn't end up like SCDA, I had such high hopes for that game! I'm very open minded to this new Splinter Cell game because the first 3 were awesome for computer, it was only the latest port that sucked! I for one am excited for it! Keep us posted guys on progress

 

heh, just watched the video and by the looks of it, they have quite a bit of work ahead of them with regards to improving performance and adjusting sam's strength when he throws guards. Other than that, it better not be a crappy port.

Hopefully they can fix their god damn interface. I always have hated the Splintercell PC interface.

 

From the video it looks good. But i might i might not get this because i completely lost interest after halfway threw pandora tomorrow.

 

It went wrong ever since double agent, and it keeps getting wrong with the removal of night vision googles and that ****ing emo haircut!
