This new demo wont open in Vista dx10 ??? lol Says " Cannot find d3dx9_33.dll" duh , its dx10 card / OS. 8800gts on Vista Ult 32x , am i missing something? M
Hm... d3dx9_33.dll is part of dx9.0, so: Install: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...e1-6aef-4a40-bd00-f0fb2a71e99f&DisplayLang=en Supported Operating Systems: ....Windows Vista... For correct woking of some game/apps u need to install dx9.0 in vista. Correct me if i'm wrong.
doesnt seem right to me ... but I see your point ... I dunno man ??????????? theres no dx10 to download and install if the 9 overrides the 10. it shows 10 and plays dx10 only demos .. cascades
Many peoples reported that for some apps u need to install dx9 in vista, couse it has only dx10 build in. Install dx9, it will correct your problem i think. Dx9 instalation add necessary files to your system >> dx9 libraries. Your dx 10 will be untouched.
Wait for more replays, I can be wrong. I'm XP user and i don't want Vista now. Wait for Vista users replays if u want to be 100% sure.
I will , you should make the lap to Vista .. its quite stable now .. I like it more and more each day
It does not work like that... It install necessary (and updated) DX9 runtime DLL's. Believe me, I have Vista also and when it gives that kind of message it need newest DX9 runtime (install this).
They are correct, you need the DX9 Runtimes. Even though its Dx10 Demo, it might still need Some of the dx9 runtimes.
My word. Windows Vista has 2 versions of DirectX. It has a special Version of DX 9 (DX9LE) built specially for Vista and it has DX 10. Downloading the DX 9 runtimes WILL NOT EFFECT YOUR DX 10 because they are 2 seperate libraries. Vista ships with both.
