I have a 4000 amd 939 cpu and when I play BF2 the temperature is at 85C with a 90mm fan on it 4000RPM. I know there is a problem with the temperature can it be my heat sink?? and with its not doing anything it 53C. The fan on it now is a vapochill micro Extreme.

did u put thermal grease in between the hs and the cpu?
is there a lotta dust inside ur case?
that could be a serious problem
amd recommends that the cpu should never exceed 60c

100% sure that the thermal grease is put on and case is very clean. That is the is the problem "amd recommends that the cpu should never exceed 60c". I think its the heat sink and fan

download CPUz and run the .exe file and it will show all the information such as windsor/toledo core etc.
