Forceware 158.19

I lost fan control speed as well.

Graphics control panel is now a drop down word list instead of icons like before.

When I set settings for certain programs none of the options show unless you scroll your mouse over them. LIke say when changing AA for CoD2 in the program tab, it will show no certain AA options like 4x 8x etc until I move my mouse over them, weird. Anyone else have that? Im running XP with an 8800GTS.

 

Does HDr+AA work now in R6 Vegas??

Yes I get that as well but think that this is a feature of the new cp.
I for one could live happily with this cp if they would enable oc and temp reporting in it. Still there's a whole load of apps around that can do this so I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.
Think these drivers are a nice step forward

The sky is plain with 158.19 Xp driver in Test Drive Unlimited, it doesn't look good... anyone getting this issue?

Hi, i've just tested these, and must say that performance wise are rely good

CC3 -runs great all maxed out
Rainbow6-LV -runs great (except AA +HDR doesn't work in the menu)
FEAR Combat -runs great
UT2004- still glitches and lags in some levels (especially compressed)


Anyone played Splinter cell Double agent?? I have this weird problem, when i start new game, the scene where Sam is on the plane, i only see his knife and night vision goggles the rest is missing on Samuke3: , the surrounding is ok(only his body isn't there, as there was something wrong with rendering of sams body)
p.s. when i installed the game it pointed that these drivers might have compability issues and they were shown as 58.19

so must i go back to 97.94 to fix this with SC-DA???? Didn't tested yet with these.

No problem with SCDA, except the fact that you cannot activate HDR and AA at the same time (a lot of things simply does not display). You have the same problem when activating HDR in the game and AA in the CP.

Disable one or the other and everything works perfectly (even if I do not understand why we cannot activate both in this game, and we can in Oblivion, for exemple).

 

Maybe you should get yourself a card which actually takes advantage of them then. What you're doing is like feeding an already dead dog and wondering why he won't chew.

 

Anyone notice Stalker running any better on these drivers?

 

it's ok on stalker, but SLi won't run anyway :s

 

On XP64 Stalker is much slower than Vista 64 for me. COuld it be that the SLI is not operational for Stalker? It is in everything else for me.
IN general the drivers for XP are not as polished as those for Vista. There is a much better install procedure for Vista, and for some reason, the inf file for the 158.19 XP drivers is looking for the international DLL's (i.e.nvgamesR.dll) but they are not provided with the US release.

On the other hand fear has shown a tremendous increase. Going from 56 minimum to 77 on my system.

 

you can see that STALKER isn't still running on SLI. Disable SLI and test the game, the FPS will be the same. That's a bug.

Nope the problem is still there, the geometry of sams body is missing, i tried to force aa in control panel to off with no luck.
I'm going back to 97.94 if it fixes this issue.

p.s. im using the latest patch 1.02, with my old card 6600gt never had this problem and was using original non patched game.

also i will try to use old control panel for drivers if that fixes it, coz a saw in one of the forums that this could be the problem.
Nope that is even worse, now i get ddrv3d error and it crashes to windows.:behead:

i've even clocked the gpu to its default setting problem still here. Lame.
Oh well i'll try the old drivers, and if that doesn't work well f*** you SC-DA, and will just delete it from disk.
