possible 158.16 soon?

coz these drivers were meant for the 8500 and 8600 only

who knows what nVIDIA is cooking for the 8800s

the link doesnt work anymore? but thats the one i used! baaah, i wont dare uninstall this driver now as silly me deleted the driver once i got it installed

so the 158.14 will be for 8600 ? grrr, but if it doesnt support it officialy it means problems.

did anyone had problems with C&C 3 ? or anything ?

did anyone tried to run RUNAWAY 2 - The dream of the turtle with 8800 card, because with every driver it freezed and bsod in the start loading screen.

 

I play WoW with 16xAA + 16xAF all the time.

Im on 100.95 drivers, not a single crash since i moved to these.

 

weird that some links stop working..who's disabling them?

 

I wasnt talking about Vista, in vista there is no BSOD.

the only bsod that happens is with 97.** series expect for 97.95 which says it FIXED this specific problem, from eVGA.

how do I update to these drivers, I've been trying to load but it in basically says "There are no components that support this.'

 

I downloaded and installed them - they crushed my mouse driver, but I fixed it up. And here are some numbers (101.02 vs 158.16):

Aquamark 151120 vs 151000


There are some performance improvements, but nothing special (maybe it's because my old OS and I didn't do driver clean in it - just overwriten previous NV drivers).

the Fixed Aspect ratio bug is still present but i haven't done a clean install of these drivers, might do it tonight.. i have to say though, these work pretty good so far..

played GTR2 last night in a 20 player league race, in the dark and 50% rain @ 1920x1200x32 in Quality profile, everything max in game detail and x8S AA x16AF and stayed around 50 to 90 FPS which is amazing.. 1/2 of the field were in single digits or under 20 fps.. so i can say i've streassed this driver out and it didn't bomb out.. looked really nice IQ wise..

i haven't tried 3dmark or anything as i tend to play more games then 3dmark.

so the only bug i really have trouble with is the aspect ratio not sticking..

 

WTF..... is there a regular link on guru here for these drivers? I would have thought Hilbert would have checked them and uploaded them by now if they really exist.

Finally got these installed. I know they are for the 8000 series,
but thought i would try them out anyways. Turns out these
are the worse drivers i have tried so far. I went from 7747 to
3051 in 3DMark05.-(

 

will the release tomorrow be official drivers or betas?

You can install these drivers manually by going to the Device Manager and manually choosing these drivers to install for your Display Driver.

I did it for each GPU on my 7950 GX2.

 

but it justt show 8 series cards.

 

Choose one of them. It installed fine for me. I chose the 8600
