Hello everyone, I've got a X1900XT, and I keep getting the same problem over and over... Every time i do a test on http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/gamespot i get this: Vertex Shader Ver.: Required - 2.0 , You have - 1.1 Pixel Shader Ver.: Required - 2.0 , You have - 1.1 (That's with Test Drive Unlimited test) I also get that when trying to run Virtua Tennis 3, an error message saying that a gpu which supports 2.0 is needed pops up persistently. I've got the latest version of the Ati Catalyst (7.3) as well as DirectX 9.0c... I just don't know why it says i've got such an outdated version of Pixel Shader.... Any ideas? Thanks in advance !!
i think it's something wrong with it, the x1900xt has shader model 3.0...i gues the best thing to do is send it back..
I got it a few months ago :behead: Don't you think it can be fixed by switching back to Ati Catalyst 7.2 or something like that?? I don't really feel like sending it back :S I can't live without a computer lol. Please help !!!
Oh my god !! I fixed it doing what i stated above !! I switched back to 7.2 !! Thank God. Video RAM: Required - 256 MB , You have - 512.0 MB Video Card 3D Acceleration: Required - Yes , You have - Yes Video HW Transform & Lighting: Required - Yes , You have - Yes Vertex Shader Ver.: Required - 2.0 , You have - 3.0 Pixel Shader Ver.: Required - 2.0 , You have - 3.0 7.3 Sucks !!!! Lots of bugs
that's great...i don't have any problems with catalyst 7.3, i use it for xp and vista, and it runs very smooth and is very stable...anyway i'm glad you solved the problem..
