Rivatuner, NVTray, none of the usual suspects that work in Windows XP work in Vista, and I keep getting that annoying graphics error where the driver restarts and the solution is to set videocard to manual overclock, thing is none of these programs let me overclock or disable auto overclock and set manual speeds. How do you do this in Vista?
Let's just say, it's not worth the hassle right now. Alotta BS. I'm just waiting patiently until a solid driver that supports it comes out, or an easier more reliable way to do it comes along.
I've used Gainward's Expertool in Vista 32bit for my XFX 8800GTX, it gives you fan control and overclocking and works without any issues. http://www.gainward.net/support/support_uk.html
ATI Tool works very well on 8800GT-GTX to overclock in Vista. I've been using it for about a month now. No issues
rather than worry about software issues in vista, i just flashed my 8800's bios, its actually pretty easy. here is a link to get you started: http://www.evga.com/community/messageboard/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=26825
