where r the second core????

    i just buy a p5n32-sli and a 2 gig of g.skill.
    im just waiting for the intel price drop to buy a core 2 duo
    and im using an pentium d 805 but cpuz dosent read the second core
    what happen?i flashed the board with the latest bios 0902
    any advice thanx.

    Try PC Wizard 2007. See if that shows both of your cores.

    Also, make sure in your BIOS that both cores are enabled.

    i install the update windows dp and the same thing i dont see any dual prossesor option
    in bios.the mobo its damage?

    did you just upgrade to a dual from from a single core? If so you may have to update your kernel to an SMP kernel before windows will see the 2nd core / cpu

    look at this guys in sandra and device manager its like no cpu
    when i try to install vista and and win64 stop screen 0x00000007f
    whats its happnenig if i try installing vista from windows says something about ASPI pls help

    Update all of your drivers to the latest ones and see if that helps

    Under "Device Manager", you should have this: "YourPCName->Computer->ACPI Mulitprocessor PC"

    If you have "Standard PC" instead of "ACPI Multiprocessor PC", you need to reinstall Windows (unless someone else know otherwise). I'm not sure if updating the drivers would fix it.
