    hi..

first, this is my system : Tagan 700W Dual Engine Asus GeForce 8800GTX 768MB
    AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+ 2.4GHz Socket AM2
    A-Data Vitesta 1024MB DDR2 PC5300 667Mhz
    Acer 19" LCD Monitor AL1906Asd 8ms
    ASUS M2N-E Socket AM2 Mainboard

I am a active Source player and i only get between 40 - 100 Fps with my GTX card, whixh i think is very low with my system...

    When i had Ati Sapphire Xt 1900 i had 100 - 150.. fps
    Why is that?

bad drivers maybe? Have you tried different sets of drivers for the videocard? Did you use a program that cleans any ati-driver remains before you installed the GTX with its drivers? Are you using XP or vista?

dissable anti alliasing in the game, and force it through nhancer, or the nv CP. i did this and my score in CSS went up from 148fps to 178fps @1600x1200, 16xTAA/SS 16xAF, max ingame settings. im slowly creeping up to my XP score of 205 fps :)

edit: for some reason i thought we where talking about Vista .. anyhow, still force AA in nv CP, but in XP you can leave AA on ingame. i still got about 20 more fps by doing this in XP.

Question for ya, if you enable it in the CP instead of game, does it look alot ****tier? I don't want to sacrifice any GFX.. Just wondering

    Cheers,

looks better when you force super sampling AA through control panel ;)
