Pleasae can someone help me with answers to these 2 questions:

    1. Does ATT released version support the X1950XT R580 card or do I have to set 1XXX mode or something ?

    2. I tried to set the OSD options to display the GPU temp but nothing happens? Am I missing something or is there another way to display GPU temps?

I am using Cat 7.2 on Win XP SP2. Thanks for a great tool - essential for GPU folding. :smoke:

ATT doesn't have good support for X1950XT. I had 1950XT and have some problems. 1 of them is with overclocking(if I can say so ;) ). For X1950XT is natural to run at 900MHz memory clock, but with ATT there is a lot of artifacts before 800MHz. There isn't such problems with AtiTool and the memory go higher than 1G(1017MHz) without any problems.

Thanks Ray, I will try it.

The current version seems to work okay for OC to 3D speeds & volts (mine is now running @ 625/1800 1.4v) no artifacts detected and GPU temp is 80c. when Folding on GPU :approval:

Installed the latest beta and it works fine for OC.

Found the option to show GPU temp in the System Tray (was confusing this with OSD).

@tiran - to OC memory to 1800 or higher, first go into Options and set the Max OC limit from 50% to 60% or higher.

Which method is best - low level or driver level ?

This is a first-class piece of software - Many Thanks to Ray Adams !!

For your board only Driver Level is most stable. Low level may not work at all.

@Ray - thanks. I noticed something else with this beta:

Windows Display properties shows that my monitor is connected to the X1950 Primary display (I have a dual DVI card) however ATT shows my Monitor connected as the 2nd display with no monitor on 1st - Is this a bug?

No this is not bug. Windows can not show you which port used for this monitor. Only ATT or CCC can show which port physically used

    A bit off topic but;

anybody knows the default 3D memory voltage of the x1950XT?

I'm getting what appears to be memory GFX errors with the memory running 900Mhz. Haven't changed the mem voltage from that of the default 2D clock, and i'm suspecting that's the problem :smoke:

Mine shows in ATT as 2.189v (for both) when I startup - normally turn it down to 2.089v for 2D. Artifact tests on mine are okay.

BTW my GPU volts are 1.2v 2D and 1.45v 3D - are yours the same?
I can do up to 600Mhz @ 1.2v needs more to do 625 (stock) or more.

X1xxx video boards doesn't have 2d/3d voltages for memory

Russ, mine shows (in 2D); GPU; 1,2V, Mem; 2,1846V and Mem I/O; 2,1846V.
625 on the GPU runs fine with 1,45V here. It's the bleedin' memory that's the problem ... atleast i think so.

Ray, what do you mean? That there is no difference on voltage supplied to the card in 2D vs. 3D by default? If so, I really have no clue why I'm getting GFX errors on "default" 3D clock (625/900)

Alright. I'll start from scratch and run my CPU and RAM on stock, checking that this is not the problem.

Btw, I want to thank you Ray, for a spectacular piece of software. I've had 3 ATi cards and always used ATT.
