I've read in the past that 8x.xx series are best for GEForce Go Series card, but curious as to how the 9x.xx are different, and if they are any better for GO cards? Thanks
Usually newer release fix bugs and glitches in the newer games and add support for newer cards. ONly way you can tell if they will work for you is to install them and turn on FRAPS and see how your system likes the drivers.
The one I made only works for a GeForce Go 7400. I don't have the time or resources to make one for any Go card. If you tell me the PCI Device ID for your particular card I can make one for you.
The latest NVIDIA offers for Go series is 84. something, and it only supports Go 7800! The latest ASUS offers for my laptop is 86. something... damn, they really leave us behind. Why can't they work with the unified drivers?
Who knows. From what I heard 84 series is best for go cards, still waiting on a confirmation on this.
