hi just got a p5b deleux wifi mobo and a core2duo e6600 got latest nvidia drivers etc when loading up bf2142 its crashing to desktop or loads up a game insingle player with bad graphic problems. any ideas coz its annoying me now.
Are you overclocking? I had CTD every time I played GRAW until I downclocked to default. At stock speeds I got no crashes, so then I increased vcore (only one notch) until my overclock ran the game stable. But then I don't know if that would cause graphic problems.
well when i first opend ai tool it said the core was runnign at 1.6 so i set that back to standard for a e6600. this is realy annoying me since i like ot play bf2142 (i know people think EA sucks buit oh well)
thats what am getting when i do single player. then when i try online playing atm not ctd just saying only unmodded content aloud please revert.
any one got anyideas ive tryed allsorts today. ive put bf2 on and it works fine starting to think its a game problem or maybe still somthing to do with the mobo or chip thats making it go wierd. id realy like to sort it since i do enjoy a game of bf2142 also one thign ive noticed is that it pc probe and ai tool is telling me the mobo temp is 151 degrees is that a fault and other people get this or is it just me.
it is was 151 iam sure therd be dripping solder inside my pc case by now lol. i ran hot cpu tester pro on my pc last night while i slept some reason its kicked everest to actually tell me the mobo temp which its saying is now 40 degrees. but it doesent give a cpu temp just two core temps. but when i go in ai tool or pc probe now its saying the cpu is 250 degrees well i reckon if it was at that the pc wouldent be so quite next to me more like a flaming ball of pc parts. well back to the game problem.any ideads how to sort it i cant think of anything.
ok but in ai tools and pc probe its saying its 250 degrees c but its sorted its self out with the mobo temp after i ran hot cpu tester ive ran that twice now and never comes back with any errors.
Ea sucks lol. He has tried the latest graphics card drivers, lates dx9, latest chipset drivers(i think), umm what else did you try chris?
am gettign a new error msg in bf2142 now. memory.dll : sanity check : blcoksize 107627908 (102.64mb) doesent seam sane anyone heard of this msg any help would be great. am that desprate ive even emailed EA my god what am i thinking.
got it sorted needed ot delete the tempory files for the patch out of ea(****) link and then run ad aware to remove malware etc. then run patch with minimal programs running in background and it worked. all sorted now for the time been. the mobo and cpu temp problem seams to of sorted its self looks like it just needed a burn in or somthing. details on temps etc (from everest ultimate) Field Value Sensor Properties Sensor Type Winbond W83627DHG (ISA 290h) GPU Sensor Type Driver (NV-DRV) Motherboard Name Asus P5B Series Chassis Intrusion Detected No Temperatures Motherboard 38 °C (100 °F) CPU 29 °C (84 °F) CPU #1 / Core #1 39 °C (102 °F) CPU #1 / Core #2 42 °C (108 °F) GPU 46 °C (115 °F) Maxtor 7V300F0 35 °C (95 °F) WDC WD2500KS-00MJB0 28 °C (82 °F) Cooling Fans CPU 2935 RPM Voltage Values CPU Core 1.18 V +3.3 V 3.33 V +5 V 5.17 V +12 V 12.30 V +5 V Standby 5.04 V thxs for all your help people.
Asus P5b Series is a POS, major vdrop problems (voltage drops) - causes havoc with overclocking. it needs vmods. sounds like a temp problem. put everything back to stock and try. get all the latest updates/patches. Also, make sure your case has good air flow and the wiring is nicely setup for max air flow.
this is no problem no more ive sorted it it was EA's fault with a faulty patch. my temps look nice and cool to me and am not plannign to OC atm reason the v core voltage is lower then normal is as standard the mobo declocks the voltage and the core speed to keep cooler and save electricity when the pc is idle.
