This is because you have CCC installed or turned on CCC emulation in ATT Advanced tweaks. Anyway I always recommend turn CCC compatibly mode if you don't have CCC installed or some of settings might not work.

    2 totya - I will check installation procedure :)

Yep - was Enabled in Advanced Tweaks, I only use ATi Driver + ATT, unchecked and works fine now, thanx. ;)

hmm, getting nuts with the lock ups when changing hardware overclock profiles with my 1900xt.

when I change from my default profile:
    499gpu(1,2v) / 594mem(1,8397v)
to a profile called "XTX" containing:
    648gpu(1,425) / 774mem(1,9519v),
    I get no problems whatsoever.

When I go from either of both profiles to a test profile:
    688gpu(1,450) / 801mem(1,9519v)

Everything locks but I can move the mouse for a few seconds (can't click anything) and then the computer restarts. Strange thing is, when I do this manually, no lock ups.

Do you use Driver Level overclocking?

sorry, forgot: yes, I use driver overclocking

    Small question to add:
When looking in the task bar at the att icon, it shows aa:0 and af:0
When I have those enabled in games, is it working then or not?

I don't seem to have any 3d settings in the BETA and official stable build of tray tools with Cat 7.2

Yes, if the game is controlling AA and AF then when the EXE is launched they are enabled by the game if you have ATT set to app controlled.

Why would AA and AF not work if ATT is set for app controlled and he enables AA and AF in the game.

the fps counter in the latest beta is way off, around 100fps more.

not that important but a its still a bug ;)

ray i dont suppose you still have the ATI Tray Tools - 1.2.6.964 beta still lying around somewhere do you? that version worked best for me and i cant get the same clocks with the later version that i could with the beta .

well i could run 668/810 and get no artifacts with the artifact tester in the beta im after.

i cant run those clocks at all with the latest one or the 1.2.6.964 non beta version (that one wont overclock on driver level at all) and when i run the same overclock i seem to get more fps with the beta.

Then use Beta it's better, then other one - in this case (for ATT) Beta is better then final version (much better) and more stable. :)
