64bit is fine, the nvidia drivers suck. I have 32bit and I can barely play Jedi Academy, some levels play fine while others get like 20fps which is completely unacceptable for a 6800. Supreme Commander is just a joke to play on Vista, I get like 10fps with everything the lowest I can get it.

did you say you were using readyboost? stop using that and see if that helps because that may be a problem?..

It's probably something with the drivers. Try the 100.54 or 100.64 released today. I have Vista x64 and it's working great. I have not encountered any problem with games. Also, never forget to use DriverCleaner before installing new drivers.

    vista 64.

    fps is aweful.

same fps in wow as the OP stated. lucky to break 60.

all id games are super slow, also control input is lagged.

currently, only CS:S is running well.

The problems most users are experiencing aren't too surprising. Most new OS's rarely ship with finished non-BETA drivers, Vista is just the latest example. XP didn't ship with sound drivers, it took a couple of months to get decent drivers ready.
