I tried it on my 6800LE.

It wasn't a succes though, I could install it with the modded inf's, but the driver wasn't functioning properly :(

Works on my 7900GS and i can now finally play Day of defeat source at respectable frame rates.
Under the old vista driver i was getting 20fps, under this driver im getting 60fps, so a nice increase.
Still not upto XP standards yet but at least it means we can game on Vista and Nvidia.

While we know theres no SLI support for the 8800's does there happen to be any SLi support for te 7xxx range, I also have a 7950GX2.

I was aware of the fact that these contained the DX10-drivers, but I also hoped there'd be updated DX9-drivers in there.
At least getting some decent performance under Vista.
Apparantly they do work on the 7-series, so I guess I'm right?

Nope it doesn't but the performance seems to be better at least. GPU fans still go at 100%, the performance is better for me and no SLi support. Thats what I have concluded

I'm very happy with these drivers so far.. Yeah I know that I'm not a g80 user, and these drivers are not for my system.. but I like to try things out when they come :)

So, just installed it using modified inf.. and well, they're quite fast compared to the previous 97.xx Vista drivers, so I'll keep them for now ;)

Does the old panel still work? Or can it be hacked into?
    Anyway, vista drivers, finally :)

i dont think you should install these if you dont have a g80 card, these are only for them....

I'd disagree. I have a 7950 as previously stated and all works well, hell, even better than the lost set of drivers so I thin it's worth the risk
