Indeed, yet lots of people in this thread have been doing it by editing registry entries. It's for people having the problems, not people already enlightened ;)

I've did 3dmark 05/06 - about the same results as usual, they don't differ much these days :D Although this driver is a bit faster than 97.02 for my system, Carbon feels smoother, but I haven't tested any other games though.

Will do it a bit later, because I'm busy with studies now :(

These drivers are for Windows 2k/XP, so you probably will not be able to install them on Vista.

Tried the workaround for the control panel but everything reverts back to default after a while... Horrible drivers by the way. Back to 91.47 WHQL. :chainsaw:

    my HDTV still overscans...

that HDTV resizing feature is TOTALLY ****ED....cant put much more emphasis on it....

movinf the resize sliders either doesnt do ****, or reduces the resolution...in either case, the desktop is cutoff from all sides pretty bad.

Have Nvidia give up on drivers for the rest of us, are we all supposed to rush out an buy a buggy 8800 card instead?

No major issues with this driver. They appear to be fairly stable with IQ and performance along the lines of the official 93.xx series driver.

I am intrigued by the antialiasing tweak contained in the drivers from 95.XX and beyond. I'm not at my home computer so I can't recall verbatim what the tweak is called officially but in Rivatuner you have the option of an AA performance setting that essentially permits the application to use antialiasing only where needed.

From what I have seen in the few games I've tried it in this appears to be the same thing as an application-controlled setting. I suspect that this option is probably meant for the G80 cards for the full effect. Any shedding of light on this will be appreciated.
