Softmod R5xx to firegl

Has anybody suceeded in moding mobility 9700 to FireGL? Really new at this. Scripts available?

 

Hi, could anyone please tell me which radeon PCIE card can be successfully mod into the most powerful FireGL card? And it must support realview in solidworks?

Because I recently bought a nvidia 6800GT PCIE, and tried softmod into quadro, but only realview doesn't work! Which is my main purpose :/

Firstly a great big thanks for the scripts and info on these boards - I've now got a radeon x1600pro running at firegl 5200

one thing I haven't been able to find anywhere is current info/script for patching the atiom8gl.drv for use in 3D studio max.

I understand that there isn't an available patchscript for newer device IDs in rivatuner, so I guess the question is, has anyone got one or can anyone help me?

I do have one question. Does it work well with a dual monitor
setup? I think I read somewhere about having issues running
2 monitors with this firegl mod.

For those who have softmoded their ATI radeons. Are there any artifacts when cadding or gaming on moded cards; more than normal radeon use or more than normal cad card use? I am considering the x1950xtx or x1900xtx for use in a workstation.

 

What will the regular 1900 or 1900gt do? Will they work?

Im sorry, but I have read tutorials. I have a x1900xt and I am doing everything. And it isnt working. I paste the code in the SoftFireGL w2k and then run it, but it says was n.t successfully completed. Can someone please help me by giving me a step by step way to do this? then it is probably not for you. It is for people trying to gain performance in professional 3d apps. It is nothing related to games. Besides, mostly the gaming performance will decrease after modding.

yes if you work hard you can even turn it into a ferrari.

it is an ati card and can be only modded to firegl wich is also a ati card. But quadro is an nvidia card so you can not mod an ati card into a nvidia card. also don't try modding it to a ferrari it was a joke.

And honestly why are you trying to turn it into something. I mean if you have no idea what a firegl or quadro is why are you trying to turn your card to that.

 

of course i know what are the quadro and firegl i was used to work with quadro fx 1400 in 3ds max..

the one thing i don't know is this mod thing.. i am not an electrical engineer so i don't know what can turn into anything?

if you know how can i turn my card into a fireGL please help.. so i can work in 3ds max more accurately ..

I have an ATI RADEON X1600 AGP and i was modded my card to FIREGL 5200, but certain games doesn't start (little games.. only for pass time) and i revert process

But u can... with x1600 of course...

Maybe with x1650 u can't because is not R530 core
