1. XXX version is basically Overclocked to the extreme. 2. If its already overclocked and workign fine with the heat sink why change it? 3. XXX version which has faster clocks is cheaper then the evgay on Tigerdirect.
"Diablo tek Geforce 6600"- Does it say Xfx? Lol having nothing to combat what i just said with 1,2,3?
Read, Masters of DooM, and you will only then know the truth. ( i actually still map for this damn game too lol )
no i first ordered A geforce 6600 for evgay then it was Doa then they gave me another doa so i said **** u give my money back and i got the Diablo tek.
....6600's suck. and ooh.... 2 freakin cards. i got two 7900GT's... during the time when everyone swore that just about EVERY 7900GT had a problem, and both of mine worked right off the bat, and they're eVGA..... and the 7800GT that i stepped up from to get one of the 7900GT's... that was an eVGA. if you turned down an entire company because you experienced a few problems.... i'd pray that you're still not using Windows... otherwise you're an idiot AND a hypocrite. 1. no.... most companies DON'T overclock to the "extreme". they overclock to what is believed to be the factory standard maximum overclock and still capable of running stable. EXTREME overclocks are done BY THE CONSUMER 2. Try running a SLI system with two 7900GT's and puny heatsinks you'd almost expect to find on a Geforce 5 series, then say that. 3. ever hear of the saying "You get what you pay for"? case and point. Ti4800: that warranty means squat if you have to get a better cooling fan. and i dunno about you, but if someone had a killer water cooling system set up for their CPU and GPU... they'd be pretty pissed if they pissed their warranty into the wind by putting a waterblock on the GPU so they could USE their water cooling system on it. People don't usually spend a lot on water cooling just to say "oh.... taking my cooling fan off is gonna void the warranty. well... i geuss i can keep the fan on it then." Try telling BFG that your card is dead and needs a replacement, and that you have a non-factory heatsink on it. fairly certain you will either be told that your warranty is void, or you'll hear a click......
Emachine, how are you buying computer hardware online? Most credit card companies require you to be 18 and hell you cant even drive yet.
Emachine, your just a d**n kid, your advise and opinions might go over better 10 years from now. Get some real life experience under your belt before you try telling your elders what is what. Oh yeah, eVGA rocks!!!
"Replacing HS does NOT void the warranty" read in between the lines. "if the pcb is damaged warranty is void" So if u have the card for a yr the pcb u took of could easily get damaged then ur f in the a.
...... are you an IDIOT! the only way you can damage a video card by installing a fan is, like with the VF900 and possibly the VF700 too, overtightening the screws WAY too much. even then, the only way you would be dumb enough to do that is if you didn't read the directions, and just winged it. and if you removed the heatsink and snapped the PCB, then you're an idiot for not knowing which direction tightens and which loosens. and since when was a PCB involved with a heatsink? D...Do you even know much of anything about computers, or are you just obsessed with porn, and think that XFX's XXX Edition cards rule?
Ok some mod needs to close this thread. We all can see it's turning ugly because one fanboy, trying to start a flamewar.
Emachine, are you really this Retarded? The amount of unintelligent **** that comes out of your mouth is ridiculous. Every post ive ever read by you has been stupid. your logic sucks ass through a straw and Id rather have diarrhea coming out of my dick than listen to you. :flip:
I recently seen EVGA cards on UK sites, in the last month, when before there were none, i'll get one next i think.
