1 simple question. in order to get video with these cards(7900), do you have to connect both the cables in? or can you connect only one and still have video?

I was troublshooting a system today and when i got there everything was all over the place. I would get video when the machine was running with the onboard video controller. but there was no video when the 7900 was in, thing is when i tested this, i was connecting only 1 cable. didnt notice the 2nd cable till i was ready to leave since it was under the desk. so im just wondering.

Just connect the DVI cable in the plug you want to use.

I'd try both DVI ports.. :) One m8 be damaged ;)

Oh and by the way.. Check your bios also, set the primary display device to PCI-E if possible :)
