It works with a pair of 7600GT.

The source was probably me telling it from a source on XS. Kale didn't you msg me about this and I linked to it? My memory is bad both in my head and in my case.
Do your benchmarks show any abnormalities? I take it you have a DS3? Also, what about the bridge? If you did use it where did you locate one? Usually they only come with motherboards but im sure its possible to get replacement parts.
the driver works fine on my P5B with my 7600GS the performance is dandy! BUT with my 7900GT cards i get 8000 in 3dm05 ipe: guessing that the 2x ( cant seem to gett it to work with 4x) on the second PCIE16x slot cant keep up with the cards. On My MSI 975X the GT cards perform very well indeed.
