PS3 this is going to more than piss a few people off!!LOL

To everyone that thinks it's so fabulous that PS3 will have a Blu-Ray player:

I hope you enjoy watching all 12 movies that will be available in Blu-Ray format for the first year you own your PS3. I also hope you enjoy paying $40 per movie for them.

Do you not realize that by the time it is WORTH IT to the consumer to watch Blu-Ray movies (ie, by the time the market has switched over to primarily Blu-Ray/HD-DVD) that you will be able to walk into Best Buy and pick up a player for $99 after mail in rebate?!?!?!?!?!?

Of course Blu-Ray players are $1000 right now, because there's absolutely no need for them. By the TIME the MARKET DEMANDS the players, they will cost several times LESS than a friggin PS3!!!!

Youll see more Adult(American) games on the Wii actually, gotta focus on the reality of Nintendo just didnt have games that were suited for Americans and our love for violence, for Japan the games were just fine.

If you believe metriod is a kiddy game and not a good one, then I dont know whats wrong with you. Resident Evil was well, which is comming out for the Wii and various other titles that they are porting over from 360 and ps3 for a entire new experience.

Various ways to play, Various new Experiences, Various old games that we all loved. I dont see it as a horrible system at all. Its just that people like you, simple base the name Nintendo as kiddy because it has games that arnt purely based for Americans. Nintendo is a true gaming company srry.

 

they will use blueray disks, since a single dvd9 doesnt offer sufficient disk space for JPNsee game programmers.

i havnt seen one game on any nintendo that has blood, except for re4

90% of there games are cartoon, wait make that 98%

the only games i would get would be smash bros, cod3.

I cant Play Cartoon Games over and over, it gets boring.
i know most of u nintendo guys will say graphics dont matter!
But the graphics of nintendo games has made basiccly no step up since N64

I will say one thing good about the Wii though, it has Smash Bros, which is the only cartoon game i like, (prob cuase its multplayer).
And another thing, just so u dont think i FUlly hate the wii

well they says that a 1080p CG movie intro can be up to 3GB big , so how can u not use a blueray medium.

I don't see why it wouldn't. And i'll tell you why I won't be playing ps3 online. Dial-up. They still are letting people play online and slow down games with pos dial-up!@!!! WTF!!! xbox live is strickly broadband.

 

Likely. PS3 will be region free (with the exception of bluray movies). I think it's safe to say the Wii will be as well in order to compete.
Region coding is technically illegal and serves no purpose anyway.
