hello guys i want to know how is enermax Noisetaker 600W for 7900 gtx(sli) or enermax CoolergiantVH 600W is the powersupply are good??
both are pretty decent. u'll be fine. might wanna check out the quad rail ocz gamers edition 700 watt like 140? donno forgot.
i think your 79 GTX's use less power than my 78's so you should be fine ! look at the PS i'm using ...
the enermax liberty series are the best enermax psu's!! they do a 620W version of it , but the others are both great aswell
Almost all my rigs use Enermax power supplies and they have never (knock on wood) let me down. I have both Noisetaker 600w and Liberty 620w and they shouldn't have any problems powering high-end SLI rig.
or you could go for a real high-end psu. Like a pc power and cooling 850 watt or 1 k psu. Damn are those babys nice!
When G80s come out I will simply add one of these to my existing setup... http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/product/Power/PurePower/w0099/w0099.asp
what a great product m8, not seen this before have been thinking about going twin psu's but that would be great nice find
Not to rant on them, although i did have a liberty 620 myself recently, then the genie got out. It wasn't even under load at the time, was surfing late at night, then poof followed by a large cloud of smelly smoke, and the genie was gone an no more power. I like both Enermax an Antec. The Enermax comes with the nice fancy cabling that i miss, was a sweet setup, i may go get another one. This happpened to me a couple years ago with another enermax as well, it was about 2 months old, i chalked it up as random ghosts in the machine an still do. Carp happens. WR
go to slizone.com and there should be a list or sli certified psu's right here, scroll to the bottom of the list http://www.slizone.com/object/slizone2_build.html
