My leadtek 6800xt tdh 128mb 256bit @400/800 3d level score for no aa/af, no force full precision, 1024x768, high quality score for 3dmar05 is ~4.6k but when i turn on 4x aa only, the score drops drasticly to merely 2k, which is odd i should say. I have no trouble with 16 af enabled still get over 4k, but AA really pull down the score once enabled. So which factor maybe holding my 6800 down??
AA is holding your card down and it's NORMAL !!! you only have 128 MB and AA in 3dmark requiers some more mem maybe ... AA is also stresfull fol GPU 4xAA requier each frame to be drawn 4 times !!!
but I unlocked to 16pp 6vp and score wise its around equal to 6800gt stock when no aa af. but when 4x aa turned on, 6800gt got over 3k, 6800 128mb got over 2.2k with stock speed, but mine just 2k, Maybe those unlocked pp doesnt function when aa turned on? T'm pretty sure that those extra pipes are usable since I didnt get any artifacts running ati tool.
