hey guys this is my problem

i am building a new pc for my m8 and money is a big issue so im having to make my old 20pin 400watt psu do the job on a lan party sli-dr, he got a 20 to 24 pin adaptor but i also now need the 4 pin square connector that goes next to the 24 pin connector. i see its 4 connections are just two ground and two +12v

    so my question is this

because i have the actual square 4 pin connector can i take both the grounds and both the +12v's i need from a regular molex connector? or is it a new psu job?

    thanks for the help
