im guessing Q4 this year. nVIDIA will want to start selling DX10 a few months ahead of Vista to reduce the instant high demand for them when Vista releases.

  4. late this year or early next year. Or as soon as ATI releases their new GPU's:D

7 series does not support dx10, pero its ok if youre like me who buys mid range cards only. as 8 series midrange ( most probably 8600gt will arrive later than the initial 8 series release, like the 7600gt which came almost a year after the first 7800 was released)

i am not saying anything myself .. just look at those links ...though you might notice that the articles are a bit old ....
but my guess is around september or october or maybe later if vista is delayed further ....

But then again u can't ignore those articles either since they come from reliable sources ..but june seems to near to be true ...

i wouldnt suggest buying DX10 fresh out of the oven. it'll have the most unrefined version of DX10, there'll be a lack of games that use it and it'll be expensive too. just buy high end G71 and wait until Vista, AM2/Conroe and the next generation of stuff cools down into reasonable pricing and has proper support before purchasing.

    I wouldn't consider vr-zone is reliable source.

Just look at their G71 "specs"

Late 06. I wouldnt buy a G71 jsut hold on a year and get the card after the first DX10 card.
