I saw a lot of people saying that Samsung 740b is good. How is it compare with Viewsonic VP720B & Viewsonic VA1912W ?

Which one is better? Any experience?

For my sons, general use and games. That's machine is a P4 2.4, 9800Pro. 512MB RAM.

    Thanks

hmm i own a 19" samsung 930bf simply because it has a faster response time...viewsonic's monitors are awesome but to get a good one you are going to have to fork over alot of cash

17" LCD means 1280x1024 resolution. Not very good news if you want to game on a 9800Pro...

hum?? why the 9800 pro can't handle it?? and so ??? you can run on 1024 do not nead to run on 1280x1024! ;)

At the expense of some IQ though, since LCDs look best at their native res.

Finally bought Viewsonic VA1912W and waiting for it to arrive.
Having quite a good review from Wide Games Forum.

My 9800Pro only got 2 VGA ports, will there be any problem with LCD monitor?

Is there any convertor that can convert VGA to DVI?

They come with most of the latest video cards, so yes.

Some LCD's have inputs for both analog and digital, as my Samsung 930bf does. I think yours does too if it's this one:

If I just connect it with VGA connector, will there be any big difference with DVI?
