i don think they have fixed it yet , i heard some issues will get fixed with TR:L and oblivion in the next officail driver release , but aint gettin me hopes up
what a joke, the game even have the nvidia logo "the way to mean play" , man I'm getting sick of nvidia and no just for this anyway thanks for you help
What problem? I´ve played TRL with next generation content and it was OK And Oblivion is OK as well, 100%
Whats the deal with Next Gen anyway ???? How come the performance takes a major dip with just simple shadows introduced ?? I mean .. F.E.A.R has better shadows ..
Oh its about the performance? Yeah, turning NExt Gen ON makes your GPU cry! I was playing with nextGen on and turned it off, my fps jumped from 15 to 80
In my cae, withe 84.21, is not that the game makes my card cry as its very smooth but it has some nosense hiccups that I think is the problem with the game at the moment.
i just try it and i got same problem It runs really bad, if i turn it off it runs smoother again, also i install the TRL New patch and don't fix nothing
I am using 44.43 drivers. After installing the 1.1 patch, frame rates inside first dungeon went from about 18 to around 35. However, it still stutters continuously, so I wouldn't considered it fixed by any means. But if you havent already, try the patch out. http://www.softwarepatch.com/games/tombraider-legend.html http://img73.imageshack.us/img73/5016/trl20060509000508174oe.jpg
Are you tring to run next gen with the 6800 ultra? The ultra is a great card dont take me wrong but next gen is for new gen cards obviously.
Yeah .. the patch did make the fps go from ~20ish to around ~30ish when the Next Gen is enabled ... and considering how low res the shadows are ... i opt for the game without the Next Gen and 80 fps ... ... personally .. the Next Gen is nothing Next Gen at all ...
What patch? For TRL, or video drivers? I looked around Eidos and didn't find any patch releases...I take it it's on another site? With the 6800GS, I run the latest beta drivers 84.43, without NextGen..and it runs as smooth as a baby's bottom. Edit: I found it...
