OK , i test it with F.E.A.R, NFSMW, Doom3 Roe ( Resurrection oof evil) and quality-perfomance is awesome.

Good Driver but :

The installer should be improveb
I can´t select coolbits version
I think by default is a mix of coolbits 1,2,3,3rd strike.

Previous fixes for older versions are obsolete with this new version.

i got a driver installation failed error

 

Yea i got the same thing. And I cant point to the inf file because there is nothing in the ForcewareUltra folder. Its just an empty folder.

Looking forward to giving these a go but can't be arsed with all the messing about now!

 

Bug has been found and a fix is being tested as we speak...

It seems some people have the device information in the second control set.
Didn't think about that before, pretty stupid to be honest!

The current installer only check for GUID in the first control set. And when it can't find it there, it will fail... The new version will check the first one, and if it's not found there it will check the second one.

That should solve this irritating bug...

 

Great job!!! I am an addict of BF2 and this is the best set of driver I have tried for my system. I see IQ and performance increase... For IQ, not sure if it's the placebo effect but for performance, I got an average of 3-4 FPS higher.

The .inf file it's looking for is just one folder level up from the default folder. Just hit the up arrow key.

Looks like it was just put in the wrong folder.

Menion, did you make any other tweaks to this new version? Or is everything just the same, except a new installer?

 

Superb driver.. Neverhood and Toy story 2 has never been more smooth!


j/k Its a very smooth driver, so far the best i ever tried.

 

ok so i install using Vinni's instructions..............
- go to your display properties
- advance
- adapter
- properties
- update the driver
- select the ini file manually from the map that was installed
(C:\Program Files\ForceWareUltra\drivers\nv4_disp.inf), now the driver can be installed.

looking back to C:\Program Files\ForceWareUltra folder i have this notepad

are they installed correctly now??? ive no idea tbh.............head,brick wall,bang :nerd:

theres nothing differant in nvidia control panel , should there be any "extras"?

 

Has anyone seem to have playback problems with these drivers? There seem to be some unbearable stuttering during playback using VLC Media Player.
