Improved stability when overclock agp and pci-x card
Improved overclock single card
Multi-GPU overclock; such as SLI or Dual Gpu ( ex; dual 6600gt or similar )
Unlock more menus than coolbits 2
Improved effectivity of Nvidia´s pop up blocker
Detection of HDTV, TV
Enabled Stereo 3d
Included refresh rate fix
Additional direct 3d configuration menu added.


PD: I TESTED IT WITH MY PALIT 5500 FX ( 256 MB ) AND WITH MY XFX 6600 GT ( 256MB ) WITH POSSITIVE RESULTS.

PD 1: THIS IS FOR GAMEPLAY, NOT FOR BENCH. ( I NO TESTED WITH BENCHES )

Well, unless you've tried it out then please keep your mouth shut. I'm tired of seeing people like you 2 thread crap. I don't care if it doesn't make sense as long as it works. If it doesn't work, then you can complain all you want.

Now, can I get that freakin reg file so I can test it out. I don't wanna take my time to actually add all those entries.

click on save as and change the save as type to all files and then name the file with .reg at the end.

 

I don't have to shoot someone in the head to know that shooting them in the head will kill them. Not testing this particular set of "tweaks" doesn't change my opinion that stability is not going to be enhanced by these, but hey, I hope I am wrong.

When you have spent time messing with every driver revision that has hit the net from Riva128 until now, you get familiar with what the entries do.

Ah well, test it as you will.

It is actually easy to create custom reg files to add/remove reg keys. Even easier than coding in HTML.

In this case, though, you only need to copy and paste the info from the first square bracket into an empty text file, save it, change the extension to .reg. Double click the reg file, and the settings in the registry are modified/added.

It would have been even easier in the OP used code tags.

i mean come on, i would like to know how his version of cool bits increases stability in an oc, it just makes no sense to me how his cool bits increases stability in an oc over the other version. explain

actually thats not entirely acurate...... different versions of coolbits can be more stable than other and allow higher overclocks.. Ive witnessed this first hand but i agree with what you are saying about it not making 100% difference....

no new menus for me with coolbits 3..........

 

i also did not find any new menu in cb3.

 

Unlock exactly the same such as Nvtweak, Nvidia´s pop up blocker , vmr , etc.
Anybody test it playing or overclocking?
I´m working adding some moddified drivers tweaks to coolbits 3
