Just download the fixed version with fixed valid signature. Driver is still WHQL, it just wasn't signed properly.

BTW;Drivers 84.12 are now dated 18-03-2006, before it was 03-03-2006 :frown:
They have also modified the Quadro 81.67 to WHQL dated 17-03-2006

I saw a small boost in Doom3 and Farcry going from 82.12 beta to 84.21 whql.

    Doom3 demo1 1600x1200 HQ 4X AA
    82.12 beta: 43.8
    84.21 whql: 44.5

Farcry tech report regulator 1600x1200 very high 4X AA 16X AF
    82.12 beta: 39.7
    84.21 whql: 39.9

I admit the Farcry boost is small enough to be insignificant, but the Doom3 jump seems decent enough considering the resolution and detail level.

Has anyone noticed that the GPU temp tab is missing in 84.21 ??

Tried these drivers - great when the eventually load on the system and do give a general performance boost.

Get a dramatic pause as the system boots for about 45sec to a minute and then the boot resumes and everything works fine. Thought the system had hung the first time but patience pulls it through.

No pause on the previous 83.91 drivers that I was using.

I've tried these and the 84.20's which yeah I know no differences really but both drivers didn't crank down the fan speed on my 7900's.. all speeds are usually wide open when loading windows and the drivers and the 2nd card till you enable SLI but for some reason they still sound the same before and after driver loading. Are they supposed to slow down for idle or what I wonder?

just use the xp version. They are working fine in CSS/bf2/doom3/quake4/Fear for me. I run MCE 2005 also.

No i knw it is, they normally on the 6800u's hit around 70-80C on most reviews, but i was lucky and got one that has the copper inside of the cooler.

So far, Battle for Middle Earth 2 crashes to bluescreen after about 20-30 minutes of play, getting wierd stuff in battlefield 2 (stuttering every 5 seconds, weird textures) not too impressed, probably about to roll back to 81.98, and yes i know how to uninstall/install drivers properly so it's not that, it's also not a heat issue. Anyone else getting the same kind of thing?
