Thank u. Think i stick with the 84.20's, they do very well on my rig. No need to change them.

These ARE NOT WHQL for 7900 GTX.

The download description should be edited to reflect that nVidia is flat out wrong.

    Partial Whql is very possible.
it requires the use of 2 infs though.

im not sure as to why this driver is giving a non whql.. the only thing that comes to mind is they forgot to add nv4_disp.cat to the pack....

I heard from the BFG tech that the drivers 84.20's didn't support the 7900 GTX's in SLI and from I can tell the .21's are no different but just certified so I'll stay at 84.20's till another is released with some good enhancements.

Try a game, just because it got the same stupid 3dmark score as the ones you was using do not mean nothing was fixed or change.

I swear each time I see some one saying a driver sucks because they got a lower score or a score the same, I want to just slap upside the head.

Well unless all you play is 3dmark then yes, if you dont then test out your games and see how they run.

Just come back to using nvidia drivers from ati for over two years. I can't seem to list OpenGL settings in control panel list.
    Is this normal?

    Current driver v.84.20

So that's why there are 2 infs. Unpack it and look.

nv4_disp.cat (needed for whql verification) is missing... out of these files so if im not mistaking these anre NOT whql for any cards. :frown:

Yes, you are right, but the missing file can be nvfs.cat
(in 84.15WHQL is *.cat file with this name)
