anyone tried it yet?

 

the new CP doesnt work. I played Mohaa (Opengl) with it for an hour and it seems to be a stable driver.

 

new cpanel works for me but I dont like the new panel, old one pwns it.

I ran css stress test and got 93fps at 1280x1024 2xfsaa 2xaf all max settings, that was gfx at 412/1112 - At 400/1100 I get exactly the same fps in the stress test!

What did u get before and which drivers were u using?

 

With the 8189 I got 89fps, with the 7777 I got 94fps.

I also found out FASTWRITES has a 4 to 5fps gain when enabled.

 

so these drivers any good?

 

It works fine for me. I don't like it though. Looks like they tried to copy catalyst.

 

Nothing seems to be wrong with the drivers themselves.

The new CP is still buggy... but hey its a beta i cant complain.

 

i don't like the new cp, does we still can use the old cp instead?

maybe its because I didn't uninstall the 8265's (I usually only uninstall when going to a lower version number) but the new CP doesn't even show up for me. Ahh. Its too late right now. I guess I can try uninstalling and reinstalling tomorrow.

i'm waiting to see more people try this before i give it a shot. seems there may be some issues with the CP. hell i might try it tonight since insomnia has hit again
