None has a certainty of unlocking shaders. They all get the same cores, it's the stuff around the core that they produce (cooler, quality of transistors etc)

Leadtek, Gigabyte, PoV and Gainward appear to have good 6600GT's.
Can't comment on BFG and XFX since they don't sell much of these here in my country.

The only difference between companies are stock clocks and warranties, other than that they're all the same

    Double Lifetime

XFX has a double lifetime warranty for 6 and 7 series cards. The warranty covers the original purchaser as well as anyone the card is later sold or given to. This is great if you ever plan on selling the card. EVGA warranty covers overclocking and aftermarket coolers. I don't know about the others.

I did alittle more research on Newegg. The two companies I'm looking at for my 6800GS when I get it in afew weeks, I hope, are eVGA and XFX. The eVGA costs alittle more but seems to have a slightly higher stock clock then the XFX, and I like their warrentee because I might end up also modding this one with a Zalman VF-700cu, that is if I don't like the stock cooler.

Through personal experience I can recommend BFG , EVGA and ASUS.

Had some problems with a XFX card though , though I assume it was just bad luck.
