lol that raped my card. Scored 3982, but my settings are set to high quality right now. Good enuff anyways. Figure I can break 4k easily by changing setts to high performance.

I would like to ask Hilbert.

Could you please post (later, when you have time) the score you get with 2X7800GTX 512mb OCed in SLI?

Im going to download it until tomorrow I think.
I would like to reach 3k with my PC.

it scares me even with two gtx you didnt really have a stable 30fps. me thinks cpu is bottlenecking those cards a little bit. then again your cards are on stock so im pretty sure you can get stable 30 fps you were very close

If they got an FX-60 they would see major improvement because 3DMark06 takes advantage of dual-core for benchmarking.

To be honest man, I have no clue. I'm not lying about my scores either, I swear.

Check if you have junk running in the background.

If by 3800+ you mean X2 3800+, the CPU you have is actually slightly overall better than mine. Odd is the word indeed.

lol oops, i didnt mean to make it sound like i thought you were lying, sorry :)

i ran this on a fresh reboot with 19 things running, and it was using about 118mb of my pagefile, so i dont think thats it. could be wrong tho

and nope, its not a X2, its a regular 3800+ at stock 2.4

He has a dual core. Dual cores make huge differences in 3dmark06. Literally 1000 point difference.
