lol that raped my card. Scored 3982, but my settings are set to high quality right now. Good enuff anyways. Figure I can break 4k easily by changing setts to high performance.
I would like to ask Hilbert. Could you please post (later, when you have time) the score you get with 2X7800GTX 512mb OCed in SLI? Im going to download it until tomorrow I think. I would like to reach 3k with my PC.
6611 according to this review http://www.pcper.com/article.php?aid=199&type=expert&pid=6 but i dont think they are overclocked ... gives you an idea thou. edit: actually i just saw another review with 2 512's doing 7500ish, but i can't find it again. sry
it scares me even with two gtx you didnt really have a stable 30fps. me thinks cpu is bottlenecking those cards a little bit. then again your cards are on stock so im pretty sure you can get stable 30 fps you were very close
If they got an FX-60 they would see major improvement because 3DMark06 takes advantage of dual-core for benchmarking.
to KAIN: Simply ask MikeMK to bench for us. I hope he is reading this. MikeMK if u have time pls tell us your score. BTW that thing just dusted the floor with my card. (LOL) only 1345. I feel the Fx series all over again on 3DMark05 LOL
no way man... ive got like identical specs to you.. and i got 3721 (havnt touched any of my clocks yet) im curious, how did i get a lower score than you? :frown: **edit** i set my memory back to 1T from 2T, why it was at 2 i dont know... but i got 6 more points when i ran it again 3727, muuuuuwahahaha http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=13602
To be honest man, I have no clue. I'm not lying about my scores either, I swear. Check if you have junk running in the background. If by 3800+ you mean X2 3800+, the CPU you have is actually slightly overall better than mine. Odd is the word indeed.
lol oops, i didnt mean to make it sound like i thought you were lying, sorry i ran this on a fresh reboot with 19 things running, and it was using about 118mb of my pagefile, so i dont think thats it. could be wrong tho and nope, its not a X2, its a regular 3800+ at stock 2.4
