Im pretty good with CS2, but its been awhile since iv used it and im getting back to using it again. So ill start posting some of my work for others to view. I made a new sig, i might do a lil more to it later, here it is: And also that galaxy thing i did a while back, iv done a bit to it and might do more:
Good to know! I do realize that you are trying to post something, btu I cannot see it. So it kinda looks like you are announcing something you're going to do...
That actually took me months to do, and im still doin a lil work on it. That was also my first creation in CS2, but it started out more like this: But it didnt say Aurora on it.
Pretty good. One comment though, you don't seem to try and match the right colors, just my taste though.
Are you open to constructive criticism? First, the planet one is great, but one thing bugs me. Your lens flare is going in the wrong direction. If it is the star in the upper left that is creating the flare(which it should, since it is a direct light source in the frame of the picture), it should be at about 135 degrees (lower right quadrant). However, the only problem with having the flare at that angle, is it will be over the sweet yellow planet - which you may be aware of already, in which case I am just telling you something you already know.
GOsh now when i see your avatar im gonna think its me lol yay 6-series btw i agree with thegriffin, the colors dont seem to flow that much but its probably just tastes. just save em as .jpg for the web upload leave em on high quality format for your friend, little photoshop rule of thumb. sometimes the .jpg compression makes lines look smoother ironically.
Nice, I like it, I dabble in photoshop myself hehe but I lost all my work on my dumb Western Digital external
I wish I could afford Photoshop CS :frown: Those are nice but need to be a tad sharper/crisper. Photoshop is an awesome app.
Like the planet one. Decided to have a go at it. Used to do this years ago with 'Paint'; bit different now days with better tools.
Oh my! Thats really nice... i think i might have to use that as a background, if you dont mind? The way "earth" is done is the best. It could use a little more land mass though!
Yeah you can use it, that would be cool. There is quite a big land mass blob, the slightly green bit. I thought that's what it looked like from up in space. I like the moon more, that took like 5 minutes as you don't have to worry about any colours. I just made a blob with the air brush and added some highlights of vague crater like things. I think that came out well. The earth took ages. I did it over so many times to build up the different blue shades and the right greenyness.
