Deus Ex is notorious for being badly programed, when I had a 9800Pro I tried playing the demo, and was really disapointed.

um, hey thread-starter, do you mean the original, or IW? cos that system definately can't handle IW.

    you stole my avatar.

    Ask here

The would probably be able to help you as well, maybe.

I wouldn't say deus ex was badly programmed, first one anyway, ran good on a geforce 2.

But if it's invisible war your pc is quite under-spec,

the original ran fine when i had this t-bred at stock way back in the day (~2.1ghz, 333fsb), and i had a 9700 non-pro then. that video card is assuredly holding you back, just pick up a 9800p or 6600gt and your fps will increase a LOT (although your cpu will bottleneck, OCing would help but i doubt your cooling is up to it).

the originally should work fine on that card, i had it running on my geforce 4200 with 4x aa and af at 10x7 back in the day. unless a 9250 is worse than a gf4?

yeah so apparently he started a thread at that deus ex forum you linked, scat:

"can anyone help me on this, ime running 2400 amd, 512 mem, and a power color 9250 radeon avec all drivers but this invisible war game runs like a pig,its bloddy useless , so slow ,is it the cheapo video card or what? is there any answers, ive defragged as well but no good"

so it's IW. no way that 9250 can handle IW.
