i can help lower ure graphics card latency (fx5900 etc) to about 196 this should help but it slowly to if anithing bad happens do it taking 8 each time e.g. 248 then to 240 then play a game so if its ok then countinue to 232 ok? but if its good beofre u get to 196 stop as it should now work well or if you dont realy mind risking it then go straight for 128 huge difference

Not GPU found in PCI Latency Hello everyone I don't see my Readeon X1800 XT PCIexpress card in the Tool 3.1 ver. My rig: AMD 3700+ San Diego E4 DFI Lanparty UT nf4 SLI D 2G Mem (4 512 corsair XLS 2-2-5) 2T ATI Readeon X1800 XT 512 Mem Audigy 2ZS Platinum Pro 80 HD Seagate thanks for all your help Sincerely
Why..? is my ATI without programmable Latency..?: Not all devices have programmable Latency Timers. If a device has a default latency value equal to 0, then most likely it's not programmable.
PCI Latency Is it effective to adjust to 32 instead of 64 for the GraphicCard ? Becouse everybody speakes of 248 to 64 . There is options like 8, 16, 32 ...ect. What is the best ? I'm using X800 XT.
Try 32 for Latency, I run all my latency at 32 and it works great with no stuttering and no pops from soundcard. If I use higher latency settings I have problems with soundcard not working and crashes, I've tried lower settings than 32 and that created probs too so 32 seems to keep everything running nicely together.
FYI, the build here: http://www.audiotrak.net/support_faq.htm has been updated to fix a problem causing some devices not to show up.
This build 2 sucks. My RAID controler disapear after instaling this new "fixed" version, it was present in 3.0 buid 1. Damn, I've already deleted previous version. Rolling back to 2.7b.
I think it's not working on mine? All is set to 000 Except my 5900 to 128. I don't see any differance!? Any Idea?
No, Sorry. It did changed something. I've set it to 32 and it's a lot Smoother and I get 600 more points in Aquamark03. Nice! Smooooth! Edit: "32" is now for my Video Card, all the rest is at "0"
I just got my old 5900XT back from a friend of mine (gave him my old 6600GT), now I'm going to give it to a young fellow I know as a late Chrismas pressy...should make his old P3/Celeron system run better...especially with 32 latency LOL
It will be DAY and NIGHT. BTW when I'll be able to but a 6800GS, i'll give my 5900XT to my Girl-friend so she can play her Dammed Sims2 game !! har!!!
Hi, I have a question for PCI latency tool. First there are two setups LtcyCfg3-x64 and LtcyCfg3-x86 I installed x86 (this 64 refers to 64 bit processor and windows?) AFTER I RUN IT I HAVE 10 DEVICES LISTED BUT I DON'T HAVE GRAPHIC CARD LISTED (LEADTEK A400 TDH GEFORCE 6800) I HAVE only for AGP: Nvidia NForce2 AGP Host to PCI Bridge Why isn't my card listed????:frown:
Roaches. Strike one down and two take its place. Try it now. http://www.esi-pro.co.kr/spboard/board.cgi?id=FAQ&action=view&gul=36&page=1&go_cnt=0
Your card will show up called Nvidia GeForce 6800 next to Display Adapters if it's AGP. A few cards weren't showing up but I'm pretty sure it's fixed now with latest release.
