Best drivers for X800GTO?

Hey Guys

I had a look thru some of the previous thread but could find nothing.

I was wondering what's the best performing and most stable drivers for the ATI X800GTO Ultimate from Sapphire?

Plz post some bench tests too, if possible. (3D mark 2005, HL2, Q4, FEAR, Doom3, etc.)

O ya and is it possible for this card to be modded or flashed to a X850 Pro/XT PE? I Know it's possible to flash the X800GTO 2 to a X850 XT PE.

yea only the x800gto2 is now still moddable i modded mine today the connect 3d one was but they stopped it once they found out ummmm lets see im runing cs:s all high 1280 by 1024 2x by 8x still getting insane frames never drops below 65 pretty sure stress test i got 150fps hope that helps 3dmark 05 6600 for drivers im just using omegas (5.11) had them on hand they work pretty well

 

detonator 7.58 is the best for that card.

Just use the latest drivers (5.12)

i was just hassling the "what drivers" post. everybody knows that the 7.58's dont support sm3.0 !!

Only thing is, the 7.58 drivers are for Geforce

 

LOL... Try the Omega drivers.

What's wrong with using the latest driverset?
Fire up some benchmarks,you can download those.
Ofcourse you need pen and paper to write down the results.
Then use some games and compare the differences in image quality and fps using some scenes from the games,saving them for further usage etc blah blah blah.

I know there are many of these posts,and I know most are answered with ridicule by other members.

But I have a serious question for you MrX-T :
Did you not receive a driver disk with your graphics card?

 

Ye, i did get a driver pack, but i skipped that.

Tested some drivers with benchkmarks and games like HL2, doom3, etc.

5.12 came out on top.

But 5.13 is out now, so maybe ill test that later on...
