best quake 4 driver?

    i just bought quake and lost a couple textures which have now been covered up wid a grey bumpmapped wall any1 know how 2 fix this ? wot driver is good 4 quake 4?

    Latest I would suggest and also install latest chipset drivers.

    Also I NVCP, set everything to high and dissable any optimizations and in game setting, have a play to try and get the best balence between speed and IQ ;).

    Had to edit, due to my lack of reading old mates SPEC SIG. opps .

    oi mate its not a case of having to get better framerates at a cost of looks it runz fine on high settings x8 antialisin (but i use x2) at 1280 res its just a couple of textures that r missin thats wot im talkin about so u reckon maybe a chipset update ? i take it there r seperate drivers for both north an south bridges? the chipset im usin is called VIA PT880 northbridge and VIA VT8237 southbridge on a asrock p4v88

    Umm...he has a VIA Chipset the nForce drivers wont help, but in that case I direct gunhero to http://www.viaarena.com/?PageID=2 for new updated chipset drivers for his system.

    don't update them... the drivers built into sp2 are the latest anyway, when it comes to component version numbers

    what video drivers you using

    77.77 is outdated, get the 81.XX series/

    yes peepz wots goin down ? oi ive sorted quake an it looks much better now serious all thanks 2 the 81.95 driver hectic anyway u guys thanks 4 da help
