Bf2:sf Fps Is Really Bad!

im getting 40 fps on average i used to get 60-70 befroe the patch is anyone else getting this? i also dip into the 20's now!!!! havent had that since my x800pro

 

I don't have Special Forces installed, but since the last patch... All those menu problems everyone has talked about have shown up on my system. I can't search for servers with 100 or less ping anymore... and overall, the game feels likes it's performing worse...

 

yeah i tryed BF2 (original) and it is worse man this is gay!

that wont help.....the fact of the matter is that alot of ppl that bought BF2:SF and got the new patch are experienceing low fps than usual and when you go back to try regular BF2 it is ALSO! laggy so maybe some one can fix it?

 

that's why im on 1.0 version, that new patchs drive me crazy !

 

is there ppl playing on 1.0?

well u have a 7800gtx 512 what is ur average fps? im getin rid of the 1.12 patch and im gonna find servers for the 1.0 version

 

I strongly believe that BF:SF has not been fully optimised, and the latest patch(es) certainly don`t help matters.

I know this isnt a solution, but it is afix that works untill the next patch......turn the three lighting options down.....i did and it is very playable now, and hell, most of it is at night and i didn't notice a damn bit of diff in the graphics......works for me and works well at that, having a blast wiyh it!!!!!!

 

Exactly what i did...... I really didnt see that much of a diff. in my fps. still getting 40-60 so no real complaints for my system. game plays without hiccups and no real lag.

 

EA DIDNT MAKE THE GAME.....

That's true but I reckon they pushed it through to retail before it was ready, as happens a lot lately. Just like Atari and driver 3, Path of Neo etc... It's all about the money!

 

Bad performace here too compared to BF2 vanilla. I dont care that much though, i hate the night maps already

Waiting for the killer mods come out pretty soon i hope.

smoother? heh play sum night maps or that iron gator or w/e its called with 64 ppl then see if udont drop into the 20s when i saw that i was like yeah, thers a problem here
