Tell me what your stock speeds are, and i will answer your question.. as i forgot that stock 6600 is clocked too? around 400mhz core 900mhz mem?

Thats right mem is at 550, so 1.1ghz, or 1100mhz total.

You can atleast hit 350/1200mhz, but probably around 375/1250, maybe even 400+/1300+ w/ proper cooling.

    No, you're right
    It's DDR1 memory on 6600 vanilla (250x2), not gddr3 which goes 500x2.
I had 6600 vanilla which i replaced for 6600GT, not because i was dissatisfied with vanilla but because i got a nice deal, so i was like "why not", replacing the card and adding 50 euros i think it was worth it.

mine 6600 with stock cooling could go as far as 420 core and 680 memory which added a nice increase in fps. Stock cooling, no heatsinks on memory chips. Also mine did not had a molex connector and i see that chaintech 6600 has which should indicate a better overclock for gpu core. Regarding memory oc'ing it depends of the quality of the chips. If you get Samsung 4.0ns they can go as far as 680MHz in my case.
    Good luck.

Bad news is, I have a 256MB AGP Chaintech 6600 non-ultra and sadly it doesn't have a temp sensor. So unless they started adding them recently, I'm afraid yours won't either. I have not tried overclocking the card yet because I am still satisfied with the performance.

Good news is, mine doesn't seem to run very hot at all. I can't tell you any temps because I don't have a temp sensor, but I can touch the heatsink on the card after I have played games for a couple of hours and it is only warm to the touch. I think thats preety good considering I had an old 128MB ti4200 before that you could barely touch after a decent gaming session, but then again that card had a crappy heatsink.

Even better news is, I love my card and I feel you probably will too. It's great for gaming as long as you don't stress it to much (newer games, like Doom 3, don't go much beyond 1024*768 resolution before I start getting unplayable fps). It's is truly a great card for casual gaming. I hope you enjoy it and get a good overclock out of it.

previously i had a 6600 non-gt and i OC'ed it to 480/650 ... these cards OC real well ...... and you can try enabling temp sensor by flashing the cards bios.....
