Umm, I think that money maybe for higher education, not a plaything. It just seems like a big sum for a b-day gift to me. I can see a few areas where you can cut costs, by quite a bit in some cases while keeping a top end system. -First off, a 7800GTX in SLI is for very serious gamers (with more money than sense). I'd recommend getting a single 7800GT or two 6800GTs in SLI. -Skip the Audigy 2 and go for the SoundBlaster X-FI Platinum for the money you plan to spend. It's way better. It comes out next month. -Go for a DVD+/-RW DL Drive instead of just a DVD ROM. -Just get the 250gb HDD or two smaller ones. Nobody needs 400gb right now unless you're doing video editing. -Liquid Cooling may be unneccessary. -Quality RAM can be bought for much cheaper. In fact Corsair sells 2x 512mb Dual Channel DDR for $160 CND. http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=66936 -Third party chipset coolers are probably unneccessary. -HDD Coolers may be unneccessary. -Lian Li cases are very nice but overpriced. Cases by Thermaltake for example are great and cost a fraction of the price. -Slot protectors are unneccessary. -Cathode lights are a nice touch but are often a waste of money and valuable PSU wattage. -You don't need that much Arctic Silver. The 12g tube if for custom builders. It does 12-15 CPU cores. You're buying four! That's enough to do an army of 100 computers! A single 3.5g tube is more than enough. That's all I can suggest for now. No use blowing money on things you don't really need.

lol extreme overclocking and gaming and benchmarks! oh and i copy dvd to my computer so thats why im geting a 250gb hdd and the sony dvd is a dual laye r and light scribe one. and i already have a thermaltake case i want a change lol i like the lianli because the mobo id upside down and thier is alot of space in there! i dont need a down payment on a house i have my grand-mothers if she dies and and i own already a car and the cash aint a gift for b-day i own that cash since 11y/o and its was 40k now with the time imaging how much the cash as grown!! Did u SMS this msg ??? *only fkng wit ya!* That spec is good. Change the 4000 to a FX55 and get a 500gb hard drive. And get proper water cooling too (Danger Den stuff) If you need some idea of what danger den stuff to get, PM me. BTW, if you wanna spend loads on PC stuff, then spend spend spend...youre 18 years old, and I'm sure most people here were 18 once...I bet they didnt ALL think of college, houses etc and may have been frivilious!

i dont need a car! i already have a Ford 1995 Mustang 5.0 HO, Volvo 95 940 and a Bombardier EFI Dual Card 800CC HO and i need 4 tube of 12grams of artic silver because i make pc for ppl and i ran out last week and where i get my parts they dont have more than a 4000 except the FX-55 and i dont want a 1K cpu and i think thats it! here in canada i dont have any place to buy dangerous den water cooling and stuff like that i would need a credit card and i dont trust the net very much but one day ill try it and missisaga! cool i live like 30 mins from Ottawa!lol and i work i there too!
