I think there is something wrong with these drivers, they create artifacts on ati tool (after a few seconds). No other drivers do this.

Its nothing to do with the temperature as the card was only at 65-70 degrees.

These drivers been great in performance even the sharpness are better than is een before on other drivers.
Normally my screen is fuzzy and trying with all the knobs and the butts to clear them off.

But there are 2 things whom give problems here:

    1) Whole PC crashed when using Mozilla Firefox 1.06 and diskdefrag.
    2) Whole PC approach of reading in the files after booting up slows all down.

GNO did great work but if they can fix this tiny items they sure can the best i ever had on my whole PC !

The NGO NVIDIA Optimized Drivers v1.7776 are the best drivers I've ever used so far. I find my frame rates to be smooth with pretty good image quality to boot. Only weird thing is the higher times I get.

Nothing so far beats these drivers when playing a game of Guild Wars... So many other drivers either gave me shimmering or blurry images or choppiness. Thanks for the great drivers.

ATI Tool can scan for artifacts on on nvidia cards, its a very good program for testing stability.

The artifacts i got didn't go after i tried driver cleaner and installed different drivers, ati tool still detected them. I did a system restore and they dissapeared, i'm thinking that these NGO Drivers install something that creates the artifacts but it is not actually in the drivers, otherwise it would have been removed with driver cleaner.

Any word on bf2 performance yet? How do these compare to the Apocalypse 77.76 drivers?

Very good drivers, bf2 seems to run just as good if not better than **'s 77.76 driver and guild wars runs awesome! Very nice driver set.. Increased my 3dmark score by about 20-50 points over **'s.. IQ is excellent

I had some shimmering issues where I had none before.
Maybe gonna give 77.30 Betas a try since I never did.
They also seem to always be at the top of the Jelle-O-Meter as well :)

    Gamers play games, not benchmarks.

are the 77.30s that good? Whats the IQ and performance like? Do you think the NGO 77.76s are better for IQ/Performance balance

Well yes but benchmarks are good for determining if one driver is better performance wise than another. 77.30s were released with BF2 demo and I'm starting to think there's something tweaked in them :p
They run old azz BF42 real good on my machine with no drop in FPS in "high action" or shimmering as with most other drivers I have played with so far. Although I only played for 30 minutes but those two items were evident right away. Have to test em hard tomorrow.

Then why 3DMark doesnt have any OpenGL gametest? 80% of the popular games such as: CS 1.6, ET, Q3, D3, CoD and etc... are based on the OpenGL engine. The reason I removed the 9800XT and replaced it with a 6600GT is the horrible performance in ET (Q3 Engine) All the reviewers are using 3DMark and nobody says anything about these games.

i have other drivers beat it easily over the 5000 mark :(

i to notice alot of screen flickering on CS:S...mainly when im near a wall.

    Vsync reduced it a bit.
