You can see the comparisons here with sli 7800GTX's, they also show 16 AA.

these are okay for me, FarCry 1.32,GTA: SA, NFSU2,SC: CT and F.E.A.R. MP beta works fine, and as for FEAR, i was able to gain at least 7-10FPS in the benches all details at max.

I was testing the 77.76 drivers last night on a number of games and demos and I got my second blue screen STOP error while playing GTA: San Andreas. Now normally I install new drivers over the top of existing ones, i.e. I never uninstall the old ones as I've never had problems in the past with the drivers crashing... until now.

Figuring that somehow my installation has not completed properly I decided to uninstall the drivers, boot into safe mode, run Driver Cleaner Pro v1.2 and then reinstall the drivers as recommended on this site. The result is that the drivers have been completely stable, at least they were last night. Hopefully I won't see the dreaded blue screen anymore with these drivers which otherwise are excellent in terms of performance and image quality.

Does enabling Tripple Buffering have any effect if Vid Sync is turned off?

    Edit:
Water reflections in BF2 with these new drivers appears to be a big improvement. Maybe just me...

fps should be lower then because your gfx card has to render one image more

these drivers work great in bf2. the game has never looked better.

in NFSU2 the game now locks up after several minutes. i reinstalled 66.93 and the problem went away. i will wait for modded ones to hopefully fix this.

for some reason i cant boot into safe mode. safe mode comes up and i choose admin, about 5 secs later it reboots. i tried it several times and it happens at the same place each time.

if i repair windows will i have to reload all my crap or does it just overwrite windows?

    Yes..i also had 2100-2200 points on 3DMark.
But you can overclock the card from 300/500Mhz to 530/580Mhz and with some drivers, I can reach 550/600Mhz.
This way, you gain 5-10fps in games, and 1000 points in 3DMark05!

So...the 6600 sucks if you don't overclock it.

I forgot to add that NFSU2 does not work with the 77.76 drivers even with anti-aliasing disabled in game. It worked with the 77.72 WHQL drivers but now it freezes just like it did before I disabled AA ingame with the previous drivers.

    Damn!

    the Camo is nvidia specific

nvidia can't fix it as its game code

Nvidia uses a different shader path in halo to ati equivalents

you'll find that camo on all nvidia cards is faded washed out colour

and on ATI 9x00 + cards have it as kind of clear watery bubbly substance,

to achieve this effect on an nvidia card that has ps2.0 download and run DxTweaker (link in pic provided)

then take a look at this to work it out
