ATi + cs 1.6

it seems as all the new drivers are for HL2 and BF2 type games but the only game i play is CS 1.6 which is a very old game but for some reason when ever i see more 4+ enemy's playing on my screen my fps drops alot especially when im recording if anyone can recommend me the right driver for me i would appreciate it

comp specs:
ati 9600
winxp pro
amd 1.9

i also tried looking if forums for past posts for CS 1.6 but i couldnt find any

 

any suggestions?

 

You may want to try reverting to an older driver version or use one of the modified DNA driver sets which, if I recall correctly, have a special CS 1.6 OGL driver that'll improve performance.

 

can you be more specific? they're are many drivers =[

 

Disable truform in driver settings or/and put:

PHP:

ati_npatch "0"
ati_subdiv "0"


in game console. Make sure that AA and AF is also disabled.

 

i got the dna drivers they seem to be working good and i fixed my setting thanks =]
