What drivers are you 6800 GT owners using? Also, how do you find out what version drivers you're using? Thanks.

I´m using the XG-77.50 HD drivers, they are the last with good compatibility, no have the bug in gamma of video (77.62, 77.70) and the shadows are nice in BF2 (with the 80.40 the shadows are crap).

    Good luck

I used to use 76.50... mainly cause v77.13, 77.50 and 77.72 would BSOD when i play GW... (exiting gw after 10+mins of play resulted in nv_disp.dll causing a BSOD)...

since the last GW update and using v80.40 the problem has gone away... I am not sure if GW fixed the problem or if it was driver related... GW was the 'ONLY" problem i had though with v77.xx series..

every version made games look really nice... better benching... and video ran smoother..

my ony issue with 80.40 is A) gamma problem isn't fixed but the work around is easy enough that its no problem B) the Nvidia driver helper .exe crashes for me upon bootup(i've already found someone else having the sam eproblem so its not just me)... I just disabled it from booting and all's well..

didn't try BF2 though with them.. as I don't play BF2 yet BUT! from the looks of these drivers.. forceware 80 series is going to be a good set.. i'm sure once the stable beta's and WHQL version comes out BF2 will be fine, gamma will be fine.. the driver help will be fine.. etc etc

76.44 were very stable and fast on my rig. Right now I'm using 77.13, these are fast and stable on my rig with a better IQ than the 76.44's.
No problems for me with both of these drivers

I don't ever have driver problems to speak of but I'm running the official 77.72's now with absolutely no problems.

I have tried many many drivers over the course of the last two months and the best performance based drivers seem to be the 76.50 for my system and card. I am still searching for the best all around driver available, great IQ, great performance, no bugs, etc.....

I'm using the 77.62 driver and they work great in BF2, HL2, Unreal 2004, Farcry. No problems at all, although I still think that the temp is reading higher than it actually is.

77.72's work great. As I have discovered you have to optimize your bios for your card to not flicker or have any problems.......after I otimized for the 6800gt.......perfect screens.....I have the bfg6800gt....use this link to see what I am talking about.......http://3dgpu.com/archives/2004/08/09/geforce-6800-tweak-guide/
