    These are yum drivers for BF2. Same fixes from 77.30 but a lot smoother. I now play at settings high, textures lighting medium, 1600x1200, 100 View Distance.

    It runs like a champ.

    77.13 = 56.5 fps
    76.44 = 56.5 fps

    I might be imagining it but I'm convinced my card temperature is down a few degrees over the 77.30 drivers with the 77.50 ones. At the moment it's reading 49 C after my computer has been on 15 minutes and peak at around 65 C during 3D games whereas with the other ones it was around 54 C when my computer was turned on for the first time and went as high as 75 C when playing a game!

    Other than that these drivers are every bit as good as the 77.30 ones and BF2 runs perfectly with them (no shadow glitch). I did have a couple of blue screen errors with the 77.30 drivers (but that might have been because I'd overclocked too high) but the 77.50 have been 100% stable thus far.

    i've seen in several places that these 77.xx forcerware drivers support the Riva TNT2 model 64, but when i try to install them they say no matching card found. im using the 66.93 driver just fine. has the TNT2 model 64 been left out in this years forcewares? I'm a fan of using old hardware, and i can play HL2 and doom 3 at a tolerable framerate on this beat ass system at that. the only reason i'm trying to upgrade my drivers is because i recently purchased halo combat evolved for pc and it tells me i need to update my drivers. any suggestions?

    krakshot, u have to know that nvidia retires rivatnt2 64 or vanta, vanta LT cards from supported list, of all actual drivers.

    SAD... :O

    I didnt notice any temp drop from 76.44 to these (77.50). Still 49 C @ idle (6800GT)

    GTA-SA works fine...

    #krakshot, yeah, buy new hardware ;-) You're a fan of old hardware... fan of "tolerable framerate" too?

    you need to get the modified INF file, which you can get here at guru3d and replace the one that come with the driver. Adds support for the FX and below all the way to the TNT as far as I know.

    thanks crafter

    no thanks to mr geese..
    nvidia claimed they stopped supporting it around 44.xx but for some reason i had no trouble getting support for my card all the way up to 66.xx, so i appologize if i offended you by asking if it was out in 77.xx..

    The richest man isn't the one who more money has, but the one that less money needs.

    I admire you krakshot. I know it's not a problem of money as a much better card would cost virtually nothing, but I'm sure you understand what I say.

    erm... what have you done to get Doom3 running on a celeron 600 with a TNT2!??!!?!?!?!? the MINIMUM specs are
    1.5-gigahertz Intel Pentium 4 chip, or AMD Athlon 1500; 384 MB memory; 2 GB hard drive space; nVidia GeForce 3 graphics card or ATI 8500... I mean I know there have been tweaks to get Doom3 running on voodoo cards, but mate, really
