Its out indeed But whats up with the new drivers that come with it? There not even WHQL. Plus i never seen them drivers anywhere. Why the hell would EA do this
i played it, but i was really dissappointed. there's no forceware driver out for 64bit windows that is able to run the game without massive shadow glitches. ok i thought, i don't care as long as i can play the game. well, i can, but only singleplayer because i don't manage to get an account set up. the first nick i tried was already taken, so i tried another, but it won't let me create the account because it says "your email adress is already used with another username". wtf?!? well done ea, first they remove most of the initially announced special features, then there is no coop multiplayer mode, then i cannot even run the demo online and i am stuck withe one map withe 16 players controlled by my pc.... i still hope the final version is going to be better but i don't believe it anymore...
for me, yes, but it might be related to the fact that i run win x64 which is not officially supported, gameplay-wise, the bots are still to easy and since mp doesnt work for me, my first overall impression is not that great. i will try again to get an account to see what mp is like, but i can definately say sp sucks edit: gfx are quite nice, ignoring my driver related shadow glitches
hey nout, yeah a couple of people are having the same problem with no being able to set up accounts, go to planetbattlefield and it has the solution on the front page.
i have tried it , turned shadows off , but the textures look worse than pariah and i get a lot of slow down while firing a weapon 0 out of tem

Gotta say this is better than i ever expected, sure the demo has a few problems (memory not being released when game is shut down) but other than that, it's great. I'm running the game with 1600x1200 0xaa and all ingame settings on high, and its nice and smooth, this game plays much better than 1942/vietnam IMO. Even the 77.30 drivers i had to install run great. Dam shame i have to wait till 24th june to get the full game .
heh, if they make basic mistakes like that theres gonna be some problems. But ill have a go anyway, no point hating before you've tried.
You need a much better pc then before mine look profile => I can play it at 1280x960 af x4 & aax4 everything on high(only lights on medium) I get between 40 and 70 fps Mostly around 55fps
ok, i have been able to get my account, and my opinion about the mp is quite positive (better than bf42/bfv). however it seems to me that the teams are still unbalanced :-( but i'm not sure since i don't know who i play with
Something is not right here at all. Alot are having really bad issues. I Installed the demo, did not notice a driver install only DX9c and it runs great. The only issue I have is I would have to guess is vertex shaders as I get very small glitches on small places around shadowed areas, not all though just a few. Hmm, Ill take a screenie and post up later. It looks damn good and runs I would think about 40-60 FPS @ 1280x1024 4x AA 8x AF all FX for game at max. As for the game ( demo ) I have yet to really get my teeth into it but it seems a bit, unrealistic, well alot really. I have not seen a tank explode into 5 mabe 6 peices and then dissapear after 5 seconds with no after math on the ground and local area in real life. Were are the gibs!
